OUR PACK

Who We Are

Cub Scout Pack 32 serves the Terraset Elementary School Community in Reston, Virginia. If your child is in first through fifth grade (even if not a Terraset student) and interested in Cub Scouts, we hope you'll learn more about our Pack and consider joining!

   LEADING YOUTH TO LIFELONG VALUES

Pack 32 is sponsored by the Terraset PTO. Cub Scouting is fun! Do you like to learn by doing? This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Built a birdhouse? Played Ultimate? Hiked? Earn rewards for doing these things in Cub Scouts.

What We Offer

Being a Cub Scout means you are a member of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs. Cub Scouting is more than something to do. It's all about the boy or girl you are and the person you will become.  Scouting promises you the great outdoors. As a Scout, you can learn how to camp and hike without leaving a trace and how to take care of the land. You’ll study wildlife up close and learn about nature all around you. There are plenty of skills for you to master, and you can teach others what you have learned.

Cub Scouts do fun things together! They get to wear a cool uniform, go places, and see things. They play all kinds of sports and build things, like race cars and bird houses. Want to learn a secret code? Want to learn about wild animals? Go Cub Scouting!

Our priority is to bring the benefits of Scouting to more youth while remaining true to our mission

The BSA’s mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. We are excited to announce that our Cub Scouting program is now open to boys and girls. By welcoming both girls and boys into the program, even more youth will have access to the character development and values-based leadership that Scouting promises.
